EP!SODE

Turn Sunday's sermon into everything else

EP!SODE is a macOS application for churches. It transcribes a recorded sermon on your Mac, drafts the follow-up material your team would otherwise write by hand — summary, devotionals, small group guide, clip suggestions — then publishes a podcast feed and uploads the video to your church's own YouTube channel.

See how it works

macOS 26 or later. Apple silicon.

Transcribes on your Mac

Speech recognition runs locally. Add your own glossary so names, places and books of the Bible come out spelled the way your church spells them.

Drafts the follow-up

Summary and outline, five daily devotionals, a small group guide, a recap email, and suggested clips — each anchored back to where it was actually said.

Finds the scripture

References spoken aloud are detected and normalised, then attached to the episode and its published description.

Publishes the podcast

One click deploys a small web service to your own Cloudflare account: an RSS feed, a searchable archive, and devotionals that post themselves on schedule.

Uploads to YouTube

Sign in with your church's channel. Title, description, tags, playlist and scripture references go up with the video.

Runs unattended

Build a workflow once — transcribe, generate, export, publish — and let it run when a new recording lands.

Where your work lives

EP!SODE has no account to create and no server of ours in the middle. Your recordings, transcripts and drafts stay on your Mac. When you publish, everything goes to services you own: your Cloudflare account for the podcast and archive, your YouTube channel for video.

We never receive your sermons, your congregation's data, or your credentials. There is nowhere for us to store them.

How EP!SODE uses your YouTube account

Connecting a channel is optional. When you do, EP!SODE signs in with Google and uploads your finished sermon video to your own church's channel with the title, description and tags you set in the app. It lists your existing playlists so you can file the video under the right sermon series, adds it to that playlist, and applies any later edits you make to the title or description.

It requests nothing beyond that. EP!SODE does not read comments, subscriber data or analytics, and never accesses a channel other than the one you sign in to. The sign-in token is stored only in your Mac's Keychain, and you can revoke it at any time from your Google account permissions or by signing out in the app.

About the writing

Drafting runs on Apple Intelligence on your Mac wherever it can. Apple's on-device model declines a meaningful share of ordinary preaching, so anything it refuses is sent to Workers AI in your own Cloudflare account instead. Either way the text is a first draft for a person to edit — not something to publish unread.
